A painted guitar body in solid mahogany, TL-style, finished to order in our Hoi An workshop. Choose black or white, then a gloss or a matt clear coat. The body is fully routed for the pickups, bridge, controls and wiring, so it is ready for your neck and hardware.
Painting a body well is the longest part of a build: grain filling, sealing, sanding between coats, colour, clear coat and, for gloss, polishing. On open-grain mahogany it is easy to get wrong. We do it for you, so you can go straight to the fun part: assembling and setting up your guitar.
How It Works
- Choose the colour: black or white.
- Choose the top coat: gloss (high shine, polished) or matt (flat, no shine).
- We grain fill, seal, paint and clear coat your body in our workshop in about 5 working days, then ship it from Hoi An.
- Bolt on your neck, fit the bridge, pickups and electronics, then set up the guitar.

FAQ
What is the difference between gloss and matt?
Gloss is a high shine, polished to a mirror finish. Matt is flat with no shine, and hides small fingerprints and marks better.
Is it the same body as the unfinished one?
Yes: the same solid mahogany TL-style body, grain filled, painted and clear coated in our workshop.
Will my neck fit?
The neck pocket is 75 x 55.5 x 20 mm, for standard TL-style bolt-on necks. Our Tele neck and custom guitar neck fit.
Are the holes for the bridge and pickguard drilled?
Only the neck pocket holes are drilled. You drill the bridge, pickguard and control plate holes when you fit your hardware, so any hardware lines up.
How long does it take?
About 5 working days in our workshop on top of the usual dispatch time, then shipping from Hoi An.
