A TL-style guitar kit that arrives with your artwork on it. We paint the solid mahogany body, install the skin you choose on the top, clear coat it in gloss or matt, and clear coat the maple neck in the same sheen. Choose any design from our skin library or upload your own image. Add a custom headstock decal and an engraved neck plate in the same order and we fit them before shipping.
A skin looks best when it is installed on a sealed, painted body and protected by a clear coat, and that is the delicate part to do at home. We do it in the workshop, so you get a one-off guitar with no spraying, no trimming and no bubbles to chase, and you keep the fun part: building it.
How It Works
- Choose the body colour and sheen: black or white, gloss or matt. It shows on the sides and the back.
- Choose the artwork: one of our designs, or upload your own image, and place it on the body.
- Optional: add a custom headstock decal and an engraved neck plate in the same order (each at a reduced price with this kit). We apply the decal under the neck's clear coat and fit the plate.
- We paint, install the skin and clear coat the body and neck in about 7 working days, then ship the kit from Hoi An.
- Assemble it: bolt on the neck, fit the hardware, plug in the solderless wiring and set it up.

Can I use my own image?
Yes. Choose Your own image, upload a sharp, high-resolution file and place it on the body. Use an image you have the rights to.
How do I add a decal or an engraved plate?
Design them on their own pages and add them to the same order as this kit. At checkout each gets a reduced price, and we apply the decal on the headstock under the clear coat and fit the plate before shipping.
What colour are the edges?
The skin covers the top. The sides and the back are painted in the colour you choose, black or white.
Do I need to solder?
No. The electronics use a solderless system.
How long does it take?
About 7 working days in our workshop, then shipping from Hoi An.
