Plans for a Split-Coil 4-string bass, drawn from our own 3D model and not traced from a photo. Print the 1:1 templates and cut by hand, send the DXF files to a CNC router or a laser, or open the 3D model in your CAD software and change it to suit your build.

2D plans or full pack

- Full pack: the 2D plans, plus the 3D model as a STEP file (Fusion, FreeCAD, SolidWorks, Onshape and others) and one STL file per part for 3D printing.
Start from raw wood
The body outline is 508.2 x 328.2 mm and the body is 45 mm thick, so check the size of your body blank before you cut. The fretboard fits our bass fretboard blanks (630 x 70 x 6.5 mm), and the neck and fretboard wood is in our guitar blanks. Our 570 mm two-way truss rod fits the channel.

The files arrive by email as soon as your payment goes through: one zip file, with a START-HERE file that tells you which file to open. Build as many basses as you like from them, to keep or to sell. The files themselves are for you only, so please don't share or resell them.
