Guitar Build Levels and Challenges
The White MJ Guitar Kit is ideal for beginner builders thanks to its accessible assembly and setup process. While painting requires some care—due to the slightly porous mahogany body and intricate shape that can lead to orange peel effects—the need for grain filler is moderate, and the maple neck doesn’t require any. Assembly is easy with a bolt-on neck that lacks inclination and a pre-positioned Floyd Rose-style tremolo bridge, making integration simple. Sound and playability adjustments are also beginner-friendly, as the tremolo bridge allows for precise string height and intonation tuning, offering more flexibility than a fixed bridge and making initial setup straightforward.
